NAME: CAMERABODY

NOTES: This piece is the first in a series of assemblages involving building dolls using unusual objects and themes.

The CAMERABODY Doll, as evident in its name and the following pictures, was built using an old camera and a doll I found at a yard sale, assembled with various bolts, screws, and whatever else is required or simply looks interesting.

When building this doll, I was an inch away from maintaining its functionality when I decided that the camera was not a particularly good camera, at least not good enough to force myself into working around its mechanics to preserve function. This resulted in a far sturdier piece and allowed me to do a handful of other features. The camera's mechanisms still function, but it will not hold film.
