Today I complete my 30th lap around the sun. [5/1/09]

The site is really close to being minimally fully-fleshed out. I just need to tighten up a few gibbers for the perpetually vacant escribir area. [5/15/08]

-recently:
I am a member of the recently assembled Fine Arts Guild Society. This should be epic if we play this right.
We planted the garden again this year. We also have a new batch of groundhogs. Momma groundhog comes to the yard and eats some salad, with her little groundhog boobies wobbling with every hop.
V.C.U. screwed me up again. They're wasting my time. Their enrollment is more than they can deal with and I have that distinct feeling of being totally jerked around, and my academic and extracurricular performance is incongruent with my sloppy treatment. It was going to be a major pain for me to go there in the first place, and here they are, alternately pulling the rug out from under me or not giving me a rug at all. Screw 'em.

If America is the Land of Opportunity, why do I feel so damned stuck? My financial situation is thoroughly cramping my education, I see no viable path toward publishing or production that does not either require substantial seed capital or a forfeiture on some level of ownership over my created content, and, more than either of those two problems, I find it extremely difficult to get my feet into doors when I can't even find the doors. I swear, it is like all of this stuff is intentionally hidden. I need an agent or something.
